I represent the employer named herewith in endorsing this application for a driver’s exam under the Canadian Fuels Association (CFA) Driver Certification Program.
• All of the information provided to CFA and Danatec (Program administrator) in this application has been vetted for accuracy and currency.
• I understand that CFA or Danatec may request additional verification at any time for information provided to support this application.
• The Driver who is the subject of this application has been provided access to CFA’s Professional Petroleum Driver’s Manual, and CFA’s Land Transportation Emergency Response Guidelines (LTER) document. These materials are available in English and French under ‘Driver Certification Guidance Material’ at https://www.canadianfuels.ca/health-safety/driver-certification/
• I understand that the Driver Certification Program helps to ensure the safe handling of fuels during loading, truck transport, and unloading operations at terminals, in transit, and at customers and retail sites. Only drivers who have successfully completed all requirements of the Program are granted access to CFA member terminal loading facilities.
• Failure to adhere to CFA’s Driver Certification Program Guidelines, the CFA Professional Petroleum Driver’s manual, or CFA member company terminal operating procedures or guidelines may result in denial or cancellation of Program certification for the applicant.
